Trust me, if you have kids, they will LOVE this. Docs Rocks is in Tanger Outlet Mall (docsrocks.org) and Foggy Mountain Gem Mine (foggymountaingems.com) on 321 between Boone and Blowing Rock are both indoors. Foggy Mountain has a second location on 105 that is outdoors but covered. Great thing to do on a rainy day! Doc’s Rocks is our favorite.
