This nine hectares park, located in the center of Varadero, was established in 1940. In this serene tropical oasis you’ll find a lush tropical vegetation, many colourful birds, a beautiful artificial lake, a swimming pool, a kids playground, a bowling alley, a sugar-cane juice stand, a mini-golf course and boating on the lake. You can also find on-site a few bars and 4 restaurants: El Retiro (International cuisine), Dante (Italian cuisine), La Campagna (Creole cuisine), and Gruta del Vino (wine bar and Seafood restaurant). Many Cuban girls dressed in glamour dresses come to Parque Josone for a photo shoot when celebrating their 15th birthday (quinceañera), and also couples for their wedding pictures. Josone Park is a place to relax and have fun with the family, it is a very quiet place, with a lake with birds such as ducks and ostriches. In addition to its beautiful natural environment Josone Park houses several restaurants including El Dante, Italian food, El Retiro, and also a snack bar on the shore of the lake.
