Decent stay. Couple of issues surrounding smoke detectors & what not. Host is not very responsive so had to escalate the issue. Toilet seat was broken (as stated in a review prior, still hasn’t been fixed), lacking cleaning supplies, dryer still full from previous stay, no actual sheets on one of the beds. Great location though and we still made it worth the stay. Good food & bars around to hang out and in good spot to walk or take the metro.

After exploring the city, I can confidently say that this is one of the best areas to stay. Everything is walkable. So many options for coffee, food, grocery, retail. If you are like me and spend most of your day in the area, not in the room, then this is the place to stay. Overall affordable for a group and hosts were very responsive.

Heartbroken to say that our experience at this airbnb was horrible.

The apartment smelled like the nail salon under it and the property was not clean (stains, clothes left over, fridge wasn’t empty, etc.) It is evident that this is one of their several properties and that it is not properly looked after.

Had to reach out to the host several times throughout our 1 night stay. once regarding the location (difficult to find, notably the parking), once regarding their back door being unable to lock, and finally with an urgent concern that there was a homeless man doing drugs on their patio.

Upon reaching out to the host regarding the broken lock on the back door, a man showed up whose name and photo were not provided to us through airbnb. He said his name was William and that he was the one who had been messaging me, however upon looking at him, he looked nothing like the photo associated with the host named “William” on this property.

Did not feel safe here and would not return.
