The check in process describes that the host will meet guest and escort them to rental. However, upon checking in, the host did not acknowledge is at all. As a result of having to deal with this situation, we missed our function that we were in town for. If not for Airbnb customer service, we would have been stranded without a place to stay. Dave yourself a headache and go with another place; better safe than sorry.

The hosts cellphone was disconnected and there were no check in instructions through the app. With no keys, code, or even idea of what unit number and with no communication from the host we were forced to get a hotel instead. The extra time, expense, and stress made this a terrible experience overall.

The directions to access the apartment were very vague, so I called to clarify how to check in. I called and messaged several times throughout the day, but with no response. I parked and went to the complex front desk and they were unable to help me as they didn't handle the reservation. I ended up having to find a hotel room. Pretty much the exact opposite of what I was expecting based on the other reviews.
