Clean and Convenient

Our family didn’t feel save staying here due to the locks of the door not working. We had trouble opening the door so I texted the host for help and he came out his house put the key in the door and said that the top lock wasn’t going to work. (But it wasn’t very safe because someone could easily stick a knife or a card). And since we had a push start car and we arrive at 11 at night and people were walking around we didn’t feel safe .and the surrounding (meaning the neighborhood) we told the host we won’t going to stay because we felt unsafe. While we stayed in the car to check our next destination the host stand on his window and proceeds to flick us off while kids were in the car. He wrote to us very mean things such as “we were stupid to not figure out the lock code” “ugly/unedcuated” “the n word” he was also cussing me out on the messages. very unpleasant experience host was unprofessional along with his boyfriend and rude. Do not stay here the location is not safe.

The space was beautiful and clean, and our host was super friendly and responsive. There are some restaurants and shops near by, and River street + downtown is an easy 1.5 mile walk. The one thing to know is that there is kind of a sketchy park across the street that our Lyft driver warned us about, but other than steering clear of it, it didn’t bother us at all. We enjoyed our stay and would stay here again!

We loved our stay in Savannah! The area was perfect for our movement through the city, close to the highway and all the restaurants we planned to visit. They had everything we needed for our stay. Loved drinking coffee on the balcony! I would warn future visitors that the staircase to get up to the apartment is extremely steep and probably not safe for elderly visitors or small children. Other than that it was a beautiful space and we would definitely stay again during future visits!
