charming apartment in upper west side, near to Harlem. Very spacious, very clean, in excellent condition. To a half block to line 1 of Subway and Broadway Av. Adina was a great host, she was wait us and explain us everything. I would recommend totally this apartment

If you want to rent JOES APART MENT, then stay here…ROACH INFESTED!!
I stayed at Adina’s place and it was definitely less than clean. The apartment seemed nice at first glance. It’s in a decent neighborhood. When we arrived, there was a strong mold stench in the kitchen. We corrected it by opening the kitchen window and taking in some fresh air. The stench worsened over our 6 day stay. We were unable to locate the source and had to light candles for the duration of our stay.
Night 1 – As I was entering the shower, I was joined by a giant bug the size of my pinky finger! I killed it by launching my soap container – squashing it. This should give you an idea of the size. After closer examination of the carcass, it was discovered that it was in fact a cockroach!
Over the course of our 6 day stay I personally killed over a dozen cockroaches of all different sizes in every room of the apartment. My brother and I had no choice but to purchase a pack of bombs to ensure no unwanted visitors came home with us. After bombing, we found several roaches dead and half dead around the apartment (photos attached).
I reached out to Adina asap regarding our issues and she did not respond for days. Once she responded, she claimed her delayed response was due to her religious worship time. She also claimed to know nothing of the bugs and that the can of Raid we found conveniently under the sink was just a carryover from her last move.
I asked for a refund and she refunded one day only. We are more than displeased with this entire experience.

Great location near public transport. Very cute and clean apartment with an elevator. Adina was very friendly and answered quickly. I would definitely recommend this location and stay here again!
