Eanáir 2023Kim is a great host! Her apartment is perfect!
We spent 4 months in the apartment and felt right at home.
Kim knew how to help us and adapted to our long stay. We really appreciated her guidance.
The street is very friendly, and the neighbours and Harlem residents are very kind and engaging.
A little advice for families: use the 116 St subway station on line 2 and 3 (red line) located west of the apartment because the opposite station, on the east side, the 116 St on line 5 and 6 (green line) is not suitable for kids

Meitheamh 2022We were at Kim’s for 5 weeks, and I could not imagine a better place in New York to stay. From the start, Kim was a great communicator, and then the place was spotless on arrival. Throughout the stay it was everything you hope for from an AirBnB, you have your privacy, but she is right there if you need anything.
The neighborhood is amazing, about as quiet as you can get in Manhattan with all the bodegas and little restaurants you would hope for. Unlike downtown, there are actually dining options that have reasonable prices. Heck, if you want a suburban experience, you can even walk 20 minutes and get to Target or Costco.
The 6 line is the closest station, an 8 minute walk and you can be in Union Square in 25 minutes. The 2,3 is a 12 minute walk and puts you at Penn Station in 20 minutes. There’s two CitiBike stations within a block. Basically, the location makes it super easy to forget about a car the whole time you are there. Oh, and there is a great laundry service place about 2 blocks away. Drop off your laundry in the morning, pay by weight, and pick it up that evening, perfectly folded.
Back to the apartment, it was quiet, even as a part of a brownstone. We never heard neighbors. About half our time we slept with windows open because of the nice weather. The beds were comfy, and the kitchen was well stocked. The bathroom is frankly huge, and there were all kinds of closets to tuck away our luggage and clothes.
We all did a lot of work from the apartment, there were good spaces to do this and the internet was rock solid and plenty fast for all of us to be online.
So that’s about as much as I’ve ever written about an AirBnB, it was just that good. I don’t think you can do better in NYC.
