I didn't spend much time in the house, so I don't have a lot to say. My only real complaint is that the toilet in the upstairs bathroom makes this loud squealing sound when flushed. It was audible from inside my room with the door closed. Otherwise, it was a nice room in a nice house with a responsive host.

There was no heat in the house. It got down to 52° at night. When I asked for a space heater, I got chastised and the heat was not turned on. It was dangerously cold. Heather was also very rude, she made it uncomfortable to use the kitchen. Required that I ask for her for kitchen utensils but left while I was cooking. There is a no shoes rule. That’s fine, but I didn’t appreciate being chastised or my Airbnb rating threatened because I forgot. Ultimately a bad experience.

This place is a hidden gem and Heather is wonderful. She doesn't treat you like some stranger passing through, she's down to earth, helpful and great to just talk to. I highly recommend staying here instead of a hotel.

If you ever find yourself stranded on a deserted island, you’d definitely want Heather by your side, not just for her amazing company, but for her incredible resourcefulness. She can turn any space into a haven of comfort and beauty. I sprained my ankle during my stay, and she couldn’t have been more kind or helpful, getting me through a rough morning. And let’s not forget, I slept in THE MOST comfortable bed ever.
