I’d describe it as “a cute balcony room on the roof” rather than a penthouse—and I mean that in the best way. It has charm, character, and a cozy vibe that instantly makes you feel at home. The neighborhood is wonderfully calm and peaceful, with walkable streets perfect for exploring by foot or bike.
Stephanie’s house is uniquely located between the airport and central Madrid, offering the best of both worlds: it’s tucked away from the hustle and bustle, yet easily accessible by metro, bus, or taxi. After a long flight, opening the balcony window and letting the breeze drift through the room felt absolutely heavenly.
The room is on the top floor, which means a bit of a climb up narrow stairs—great if you enjoy a little workout, but something to keep in mind if you're traveling with heavy luggage.
Stephanie and her family were incredibly kind, welcoming, and helpful throughout my stay. I truly felt cared for. I’d recommend this place and will come back to it when I visit Madrid again.
