The Maryland Zoo — also known as The Maryland Zoo in Baltimore and formerly known as The Baltimore City Zoo or the Baltimore Zoo — is a 135-acre park located in historic Druid Hill Park in the northwestern area of the City of Baltimore, Maryland, with the postal address of 1876 Mansion House Drive
The second oldest zoo in the nation. The Baltimore zoo is awesome. From city sights to sudden deep woods, this surprising treasure is worth the visit. It's not too large and great for small children. It has a train ride, interactive exhibits, and the food is actually really good too. Only a few miles from here, great easy parking, and next to Rawlings Conservatory and Druid Hill Park.

One of the best zoos in the country: the staff, keepers, and volunteers truly care about each animal's wellbeing, as well as their visitors' experiences. The African penguin exhibit is particularly fun, as you get to see them waddling adorably on their "cliffs" and "flying" through the water. My personal favorites are the elephants, rhinos, giraffes, and primates.
