Dahlonega is a beautiful town full of different shops where it would be very easy to spend all day popping in and out of them all. During the Christmas season, it is decked out with thousands of lights, has Santa visit in the middle of the town square, and has horse drawn carriage rides. Has been voted one of the top 10 small Christmas towns.

Come pan for gold or check out historical attractions where the first U.S. goldrush occurred. There is also great hiking and sightseeing with an endless number of trails, national forest parks, and waterfalls around. Downtown Dahlonega is also worth checking out if you enjoy small town shopping and restaurants.
