A very classic cafe/restaurant with somewhat of a blue-haired crowd but a great place to gaze upon the gardens and the royal palace. Ample outdoor seating with heat lamps during cooler weather.

This cosy braserie is in Plaza de Oriente, facing the Royal Palace and the Opera House. Its interior is like an old 19th century cafe with underground caves (16th century).
