This is one of the most beautiful beaches on the Cape and my personal favorite. For the past several years sand bars create a natural pool that is great for young children to swim in. For more adventurous swimmers you can go out beyond the sandbar and body surf. The sandbar itself is great to walk and if you walk about a mile to the left of the beach there is a seal colony. National Seashore Parking is $20 per day or $60 annual fee. Entry is free with Interagency pass.
