A cozy getaway for couples, nomad workers, families, pets, bikers, hikers... all love our 750 sf wood-lined cabin on a huge yard with pond. Full kitchen, large balcony-deck, fire pit, and parking for 4 cars. The "Hop River Trail" is just steps from our driveway. Walk a 1/2 mile to a lovely meandering waterfall, or go for miles if you love a good hike or bike-ride. 15-min drive to Manchester, Vernon, UCONN Storrs; 20-30-min to Hartford, casinos, airports, etc. (Pls declare pets under "Guests".)

The cottage was located near a telegraph line, but had limited connections to the outside world - only one telephone. Guests are encouraged to put aside their mobile devices and enjoy quality time with those around them. This may not always be possible, so the cottage has internet and a workspace for those who need to connect.
