The Carriage House: Beautiful Farmland Views.

The Carriage House is the second floor of our cedar stables that was turned into an apartment years ago. It was completely redone this spring and professionally decorated to make it a cozy + luxe retreat with views to die for. While we no longer use the stables to house animals we still keep a few head of cattle + sheep in the pasture for your enjoyment. The wall of windows along the back of the apartment offer you the most stunning views of the surrounding farmland and an unforgettable sunrise.

It's decorated in a neutral, calming style which makes it the perfect relaxing base for your stay in Lancaster Co. From the back patio you have a spectacular view of the surrounding farmland and can spot over 5 different neighboring farms. An easy drive to all of the local attractions, you'll be sure to have plenty to do during your stay.

The house has some rustic features such as the original hardwood floors, with plenty of space in the living room and dining room for a family. The loft is in a newly renovated barn, located on our small farm in Gap PA. The location is approximately 15 min from Lancaster County’s main attractions. This Apartment is located at the base of Welsh Mountain in Lancaster County PA, minutes from Shady Maple. We are 15 minutes from the town of Intercourse & 23 minutes from Bird-in-hand. The apartment is the entire upstairs of an unattached garage. Beautiful view of Lancaster County Countryside.
