Little Rainforest Sanctuary near Bellingen

Rainbow Creek was curated for nature lovers, couples and those seeking a sanctuary. Nestled on the edge of the rainforest in Kalang with birdsong, glow worms and a million stars at night. Enjoy specially curated spaces for resting or be creative in the library with art supplies or read our nature and art books in the library. We are far enough from Bellingen to feel like you have truly escaped but close enough to go out for a romantic dinner or a relaxed breakfast and coffee in the morning.

We invite you to come and enjoy a tranquil break in the heart of nature, brimming with native wildlife. Sit on the covered veranda and experience serenity or wander down to the crystal clear flowing river with swimming hole.

Casuarina Cottage - walk to town - Mountain Views.

Casuarina Cottage is a cosy space & suitable for no more than 4 guests. There are 2 bedrooms. The main bedroom has a queen bed & the smaller 2nd bedroom has a double bed. It has a large, spacious deck with a wonderful view of the Dorrigo Escarpment. Situated in a quiet & peaceful area yet close to everything. A 5-minute walk takes you to a well-stocked corner shop & café. 10 mins further, you're at the Bellinger River where you can picnic & swim. Another 5 mins & you're in the centre of town.

Surrounded by 195 acres or tranquility and designed and built entirely from repurposed materials, everything has a story. Walking tracks and a gorgeous swimming hole just minutes away, or local coffee on the deck taking in the views. 5 minutes to Bellingen town and the space to have friends and family spread out, you can even bring the dog.

A secluded couples’ retreat on a lush rainforest hilltop, overlooking the tranquil Kalang River—just 5min from vibrant Bellingen. Sink into your private steaming cedar hot tub, unwind in a luxurious king-size bed, and cozy by the wood fireplace in winter or cool off in the sparkling pool in summer. Koompartoo Retreat is an adults-only boutique retreat set amongst tropical rainforest on the edge of Bellingen town. Private cabins provide a romantic sanctuary for couples to enjoy a relaxing break away from it all, yet an easy walk to cafes, restaurants and shops. It comes with a deck for your private use and uninterrupted views of the breathtaking sunset. We will be on hand for any advice or help but you will be left to enjoy your stay. A short drive from the Dorrigo township and National Park, but otherwise serenely secluded on our 50-acre property. Idyllic farm cabin.

Bonville Bush Retreat

Architecturally designed house set on 5 acres of private Australian bush. Conveniently located just; 20 minutes to Bellingen. 15 minutes to Coffs Harbour airport. 10 minutes to Sawtell. 5 minutes to Bonville international golf course. Enjoy swimming in nature with direct access to Bonville creek running across the rear of the property. Finnish sauna suitable for 6 persons with outdoor shower. Pets allowed on request. Note that there is no boundary fencing.
