We are centrally located with access to multiple Hatfield McCoys and Outlaw Trails approximately 7 miles from Wilmore Dam.

We are OPEN YEAR-ROUND for riders of all seasons with hundreds of miles of trails accessible from this location and no need to trailer. The cottage is located less than 1000 feet from Pinnacle Creek trail 25 of the Hatfield McCoy trail system and outlaw trails. We have a fire pit located out back for your enjoyment.

During your stay you will be located in a private area with a small creek behind the property bringing peace and tranquility. Warrior Trail Lodging, LLC The Caretta Cottage

Located approximately 6 minutes to War, WV and HMT trailhead. A Short, nice ride to the Wilmore Dam, and to High Rocks. NEW ADDITIONAL PARKING FOR LARGE TRAILERS across the street from the Cottage. In addition to approximately 50 ft. in front, 40 ft. in back, 30 ft. on the side of the cottage. SEE PARKING PHOTOS. We are on Rt 16, part of the ”Head of the Dragon” Motorcycle Riding Route in Caretta, WV. You will have easy on/off access to “Warrior Trail” from Caretta or War.
