Whether you cozy up inside next to the fireplace, gazing out the window at Whiteface, or gather around the fire pit making memories and s'mores, you are going to love this chalet!

This is a unique rustic cabin on a private dirt road nestled on a mountain brook in the forest adjoining the Giant Mountain Wilderness Area. This small (200 sq ft + 80 sq ft sleeping loft), Adirondack style cabin was completely refurbished this past year using locally sourced woods and built by hand. Located two miles from downtown Keene Valley, and at 1800 feet, this is an ideal place for those who prefer the quiet forest, the peaceful sound of a mountain brook, and possibily seeing animals.

Moments drive from Cascade Ski Center. 2-minute drive from Cascade trailhead. 10-minute drive to the Adirondack Lodge. 10-minute drive to downtown Lake Placid. 20 minutes to Whiteface Mountain Ski Resort. Whether it’s skiing, hiking, biking, climbing, swimming, or fishing the Adirondacks have it all & we’re the perfect spot to embrace the true feeling of the Adirondacks.

Fountains Cabin

This basic cabin is centrally located on Rt 73 close to climbing cliffs and trailheads. With a private setting in the woods it offers a great base for your Adirondack adventures. Please note that this accommodation will be a „GLAMPING“ experience. The cabin HAS NO SHOWER and a limited supply of 5 gallons of water. It is not impervious to the outdoors. Although the cabin is regularly cleaned thoroughly there will be the occasional bug or spider crawling along minding its own business.
