"Trout & About" Cabin located in Bemis, WV is the perfect place to unplug & enjoy the Appalachian Mountains located just 50 ft off the banks of the Shavers Fork River. Come enjoy fishing, swimming, hiking to Mule Hole & take a train ride to High Falls. Drive over the hill to Glady you will find the walking & bike trails of the West Fork Rail Trail. Come disconnect and unwind while taking in the beautiful WV mountains and fresh air. Please note there is NO cell service in the area.

A bright, modern cabin in the heart of the Monongahela National Forest. This brand new design driven space feels like being in a treehouse. It lies at the edge of the Dolly Sods wilderness, has forest views from every room, and a sauna. The location provides easy access to tons of hiking and is only 2.5-3 hours from Washington DC. It's as close as you can get to Dolly Sods without camping! 4WD needed in the winter.

Riverfront Beach, Hot Tub, Firepit, Swimming Hole

Want to get away from it all? Camping not your thing, but like hiking, biking, and being outdoors? Enjoy a clean, comfortable riverside vacation in the mountains of WV at River Star! Rental includes all modern amenities, linens, BBQ, fire pit, Hot Tub, Fireplace, Corn Hole, games, and Adirondack chairs overlooking the Shavers Fork of the Cheat River. Please note AWD vehicles are recommended in winter weather.

Glady Hideaway

Glady Hideaway is a quaint one room cabin perfect for two wishing to escape the chaos and spend some time one on one. Here, you can stay “unplugged” if you desire. Wi-Fi is now available but please note connection can be unreliable and slow at times in the mountains. The surrounding area offers many outdoor activities and charming mountain towns to explore. AWD/4WD is required from early December to March.

The Nook

The Nook is a play on our popular property, The Rail Hus, located in Elkins, WV as it embodies our signature Scandinavian, minimalistic modern style. The Nook is a quaint place perfect for one or two people. It is centrally located right at the access to Route 33 towards the Canaan area and a minute or two from the downtown district. The Nook has a private second floor porch and private parking.

Within walking distance of everything downtown has to offer - restaurants, bars, train station, shops, and more. Within 1 hour of highly sought after hiking in the Monongahela National Forest, trout fishing, skiing, and sight seeing!
