The truck home is fully stocked for a perfect getaway including a kitchen, bathroom, queen bed in the bedroom, couch sleeper, AC/heat, an outside gazebo, and WIFI for remote work. The Gator Getaway is the perfect escape from reality located in the swampy town of Manchac, Louisiana. It is the ideal place for a stay near the water with no boat required! The historic building was the original Church of Manchac and was remodeled into a home. Located within walking distance to the famous Middendorf's Restaurant! Also nearby is the public boat launch, Sun Buns river bar boat taxi, and other local favorite spots! Located about 40 miles outside of New Orleans.

Mercy Farm TeePee

Reconnect with nature at this unforgettable experience in a real 24 foot TeePee. A true glamping experience on a farm with comforts of an ac and king size bed. Inside the TeePee there is sleeping for 6 people, warm water, a bathroom, and a small refrigerator. Outside, there is a outdoor kitchen, shower, grill and Firepit area. Guest receive free admission to Mercy Farm where you can pet and feed the farm animals, take a walk in nature, or cast a line into our pond.
