Our peaceful cottage is nestled among the redwoods, a few miles inland from the Mendocino Coast. High ceilings and skylights make this space feel spacious, offering natural light, and views of the majestic trees. The surrounding community is special, with many residents having lived here for decades, tending their homesteads. On your way in, you are likely to see cattle, horses, pigs, and chickens. Deer, coyote, foxes, mountain lions, owls, hawks, vultures, and bears also frequent the area.

It is family friendly, on a 23 acre private forest estate, and 8 minutes from Mendocino village and the coast. The cabin has redwood beams, stained glass windows, and a private deck. The cabin and home where the host lives is on a private road, with pond, fruit orchard, and 1/4 mile walking trail on the property to the seasonal 100 foot waterfall lookout.

Crispin Cottage

A small but cozy cabin, warmed by our kerosene heater in the winter and with a small air conditioner for the heat waves of summer. The sunroom maintained by my sister is warm on sunny winter days and cool during the summer. Our property is peaceful, with only my mother, sister and my sister's grandson living in the two other dwellings on the three acre property. We offer complete privacy for those that prefer it; or for those that enjoy it, we love meeting and gretting our guests.
