On your visit you will be greeted by our alpacas, chickens, donkeys, horses, goats and even camels. If you would like to replace your cell phone’s morning alarm with the crowing of roosters or replace the hooting of cars with the braying of donkeys, the solar powered Donkey Dairy Cottage is the place for you! The Cozy Honeydew Retreat (Solar Inverter)

Welcome to the Cozy cove in Roodeport. The house has a full solar setup, so load shedding won't affect your stay, as well as a backup water supply if there are local water shutoffs. 1 parking space available, if more is needed please contact me so that we can make arrangements. Free Wi-Fi, DSTV are available. Outside balcony area with Gas Braai. The residence is also very close to Wilgeheuwel hospital if you are visiting/caring for any family members and need a place to stay.

Peaceful Privacy

A private self-contained lock-up and go guest suite with unrestricted 24/7 access. 2.5 km from Unisa, 10,2 km from Monash University, 12,3 km from University of Johannesburg (UJ) and 16 km from University of the Witwatersrand (Wits). Guests do not have to share any spaces within the home with any members of the household as it is a totally independent unit even though it is situated within the main house. The only shared areas are outside in the garden and at the pool.

Solar power to keep running lights, TV, internet, and work station.
