The whole group will be comfortable in this spacious and unique space. Peaceful prairie setting with beautiful sunrises and sunsets. Parks and grocery store is within walking distance. Bathroom is small, but includes everything you need. There is also a stand alone shower in the back entryway next to the washer/dryer. Located within minutes of downtown Slayton, local bakery, coffee shop, fairgrounds, racetrack, golf courses and Lake Shetek.

Kinda like "GLAMPING" but better!Has heat and Air .Unique, corky but a great place to relax and put your feet up in the hammocks inside. Must be able to climb a 6 foot ladder to get to loft to sleep. Can come to the main house to go to the bathroom or use the best compost toilet ever attached to your getaways space. Kitchen area if needed in wine area to use. Firepit and grill to use for cooking also. A place like no other!

Historic 1880 Settler Cabin, Merryweather Farm

Merryweather Farm is a peaceful place on the open prairie. We raise organic garlic, apples, orchard pork, free-range chickens, turkeys, ducks, geese, and charming, lovable dogs and cats. Our goal is to provide a true pioneer experience with just a bit of comfort added. 1880 Norwegian Settlers Cabin is not modernized, attached barn has been rebuilt into uninsulated screen porch. Cabin has great old iron bed, loft has twin bed, screened in porch has day bed. Private modern bath included.

The Parsonage of Marshall is conveniently located half a block off Marshall’s Main Street with numerous restaurants, bars, and shops within walking distance. This charming home is also within blocks of 5 local churches and funeral home. The Parsonage is a comfortable and convenient place to stay while visiting Marshall for an event or leisure. Your family will be close to everything when you stay at this centrally located "castle house." It is located within walking distance to downtown (YMCA, library, theater, schools, parks, & churches) and is less then 2 miles from the high school and hockey arena.
