Come enjoy a relaxing stay in our two bedroom cabin where the old meets the new! This 90 year old cabin is rich in history with its rustic exterior and has been finished out with a modern design on the interior. The cabin is just south of Grand Lake and extremely easy to access via car, it is a five minute drive to the west gate of Rocky Mountain National Park, and boasts all of the modern amenities to make you feel comfortable during your stay. Come unwind, explore and relax in our wonderland!

Historic Forested Cabin with Great Mountain Views

Classic Estes Park cabin in historic wooded neighborhood next to Rocky Mountain National Park (20-NCD0362). Built in 1921 and restored in 2019, this cabin is situated to view Longs Peak and Twin Sisters. It backs up to a meadow where deer and elk frequently browse during all seasons. Quintessential Estes Park architectural elements, such as a moss rock fireplace and antler door handles, are found throughout the cabin. A few minutes from the National Park entrance as well as downtown Estes Park.

Enjoy making ever-lasting memories at our Cabin. In the Spring through Autumn we offer a canoe, 2-kayaks and paddle board from our private dock where you may fish and play on the water all day or relax by the campfire while you roast marshmallows and enjoy family laughter. GL town is 1 mile away from the cabin. RMNP is near as well Let us spoil you with a fully stocked kitchen, comfy beds, and spa like bathrooms. Welcome to Moose Mansion, our peaceful A-Frame escape sitting just off the North Fork of the Colorado River. We're just minutes from the historic downtown Grand Lake, the East entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park, hunting, fishing, world-class snowmobiling, sailing, SO MANY MOOSE, and much more. We renovated the cabin to bring all the comforts of home to our "home away from home" in the mountains. Our family has made many memories here, and we're hopeful you'll be able to do the same.

Entire brand new, modern & bright cabin. We lost the cabin in 2020 in one of the largest wildfires in Colorado history, and just finished rebuilding. What we lost from the seclusion of trees, we gained in 360 degree views of Kawuneeche Valley & Rocky Mountain National Park. Nature has rebounded quickly & you will see abundant wildlife grazing the meadow, with moose and elk visiting daily. You can snowmobile/ATV from cabin to trails in less than 10 min. 4WD/AWD HIGHLY RECOMMENDED in Winter.

The cabin is 10 minutes from the west entrance of Rocky Mountain National Park, 10 minutes from cross-country/snowshoeing/snowmobile trails, 2 minutes from mountain lakes (for boating, fishing, and skiing), 25 minutes from Ski Granby, and 40 minutes from Winter Park Ski. After enjoying the outdoors, return to a cozy fire or enjoy wildlife from the patios. Long driveway for multiple cars. Guests under 21 must be accompanied by family.

This charming A frame is so cozy! The living room, dining space and kitchen greet you right as you walk in. The house has a wonderful layout for families, with bathrooms on the main level and the walk out basement, and two living areas. There are large decks off the front and back of the house, adirondacks and picnic table allow taking in the gorgeous view and listening to the seasonal creek very comfortable. Two parking spaces and snowmobiles can be parked right off the road.

This modern tiny home is perfect for a single or couple. It has a queen bed & dining area table. It is in close proximity to a community BBQ, yard games & campfire in the summer. This cabin has a small kitchenette for simple cooking. Feel free to bring your cooler, camp stove and a bag of ice. Kick back and keep it simple.
