This cute and cozy apartment boasts stunning lake and mountain views. Great for a quiet getaway of hiking, skiing, snowshoeing, kayaking, boating or fishing. The bedroom is furnished with a comfy king size bed. The living room has a couch and twin pullout with a contemporary electric see-though fireplace. The deck is a great to enjoy your complimentary continental breakfast or hot tub. The fully equipped kitchen also has views of the lake. During winter months, an AWD or 4WD is recommended.

Your experience is enhanced with a gas grill, outdoor seating/dining table, fully outfitted kitchen, and even a clearing for campfire and stargazing. Deer and wild turkeys are frequent visitors. You will have the comforts of home, with a jaw dropping view of the La Plata mountains, and dark starry nights. The perfect spot for couples or solo travelers to kick up your feet and ENJOY. This is our hobby farm, so we hope you like farm fresh eggs, fuzzy critters, and crisp mountain air.

Mountain Escape

Great forest escape in the mountains. Our house offers space to come together as a family, slow down and enjoy nature. The fresh, cool mountain air is refreshing and inviting. Like most mountain homes, our house does not have AC as the breeze keeps the house cooler. During those unseasonably warm times, the box fans in the windows keep the air flowing and trips to the lake or river are just perfect! We have upgraded our internet and are averaging speeds over 100 MBPS.

Sleeping: one queen Murphy bed, full sofabed sleeper and a single fold out mattress. 5 guests max including infants. 21+ to reserve We have a family allergy so we cannot accept animals.
