Gum Tree Studio - The perfect country retreat!

With amazing views and the Taste Tasman cycle trail at the end of the road this is the perfect retreat to get away from it all. We're lucky to be surrounded by farmland, countryside, mountains, sea, National Parks, fresh air and birdsong. Just a short 10 minute drive from the popular village of Mapua and 10 minutes from Motueka this artistic, modern, roomy and stylish studio is a perfect getaway. The Studio is located at the rear of our home property, down a private drive, with ample parking.

Wendels Acre with panoramic views

Wendels Acre is a rural property, our house and grounds is an acre of garden & 4 acres of land, running sheep. The studio has sea views and it's own private garden. The location is close to Mapua Village, Rabbit Island, Motueka, Great taste cycle trail (Nelson to Kaiteriteri), Kaiteriteri Mountain bike park, & Abel Tasman National Park. We have enhanced the plantings to encourage native birds which is a quiet, relaxing & tranquil area. We are a retired couple looking forward to hosting you.

Hidden Holiday Cottage

A cute wee cottage for a hideaway. Surrounded by trees and bird life in a peaceful setting. The Motueka River is a 5 min walk. We have a sculpture garden and gallery on site showcasing the work of David Carson and other artists. Free entry to our guests. A great central location for Nelson, Motueka, Kaiteriteri and Nelson lakes. We are conveniently located right on the Great Taste cycle trail. Fully self contained cottage. 'Atatū' means "dawn" - our favourite time at the property, when the sun travels across the sea to outline the hills and all is peaceful. Atatū is a great base for outdoor adventures in the three National Parks nearby, wine-tasting in local vineyards, olive grove picnics, gallery visits or delicious meals in excellent local eateries. A glorious swimming pool and spa await you upon return. The chef's kitchen & BBQ ensure you can prepare sumptuous meals with delicious local ingredients.

Harakeke Hill, near Motueka

Modern off-grid accommodation. Our power comes from panels powered by the sun. We have a back-up generator which runs if the batteries have had their power used. Wi-fi + the internet are easily accessible. We have solar heated hot water and we run all the usual household appliances. Two bedrooms: each with a king bed which can be split into two singles. *Please state which bed arrangement you will be needing* EV or PLUG IN HYBRIDS: it is not possible to charge these vehicles overnight.

Karaka Studio on Manuka Island Nelson/Tasman

Karaka studio is on the very edge of the Waimea Inlet with water twenty metres from your front door. Lie in bed and watch the tide come in. We are a private estuary island (Manuka Island) but we have drive on access at all times, 25 minutes to Nelson and Motueka. Rabbit Island beach(4km) and Taste Nelson Cycle Trail is a km from our gate. We are central to vineyards, cafes, 3/4 hour to Abel Tasman National park. We have amazing sea, rural , and mountain views. Total privacy assured.

Tinyhouse Modern Retreat "The Apple"

Welcome to "The Apple", our Tinyhouse on wheels. Situated outside of the delightful township of Motueka we have built this tiny retreat and are super excited to be able to offer this unique accommodation experience to others. Lie in bed and watch the stars or enjoy the view out across the Tasman bay. Staying in a tinyhouse is an experience. Modern, bright and comfortable "the Apple" is a perfect escape, a relaxing weekend getaway with the beautiful Tasman region at your doorstep.

Supplejack Gardens

Supplejack Gardens Cottage is a luxury self contained house privately nestled amoungst natives, fruit and nut trees. You are welcome to explore the gardens, orchards and groves, native plantings and waterway restorations. The village of Upper Moutere is a 700m stroll or bike for coffee and local delicacies, visit the oldest pub in NZ for a great selection of craft beers. Restaurants, wineries and galleries are all within close proximity. Stop, relax and immerse yourself in nature.

Applegirth - Peaceful Retreat near Mapua

A relaxing space to retreat to after a day of exploring, Applegirth offers an open plan kitchen, dining and lounge area; a separate bedroom with Single bed; a mezzanine level with Queen sized bed and a bathroom with shower over bath, and washer. A Sofa Bed in the lounge can also be utilised upon request. In the lounge is a music station , and selection of games. Outside on the verandah is a covered BBQ and seating area where you can relax and listen to the birdsong.

Pearse River Hobbit House bike trail, hike, fish

An overnight stay you will alway remember! Relax in this unique above ground Hobbit House. Lovingly hand-built. Sleeps 2 to 4 (two double beds). Wood heat. Outside kitchen with water tap. On-demand hot water. Custom antique style ice box. Propane cooker. Shower. Composting toilet. Hobbit House is located on a lifestyle block in beautiful Pearse Valley with lovely rural outlook, 1 kn walk to lovely waterfall, plus onsite tracks for Food and Medicine forest project.

Neudorf Cottage

Enjoy a peaceful stay at Neudorf Cottage. Set back down and long gravel driveway off the main road, the cottage has two bedrooms, a bathroom, fully equipped kitchen, dining area and lounge. A cosy reading nook with a unique pot belly fireplace. Neudorf cottage is a two story building with two bedrooms upstairs and a downstairs bathroom. The stairs were hand built, a little steep so ideally are not suitable for unsupervised toddlers or people with reduced mobility.
