The Trailhead Guest Cottage

Our peaceful oceanfront guest cottage is situated at the head of the 9.5 km Pollett's Cove hiking trail.  We recommend a two night stay - first night, settle in with a beverage, evening sunset and star gazing.  Wake to coffee and farm fresh breakfast delivered to your door step (except in August when we are on vacation), before hitting the trail to Pollett's Cove, the Skyline or any of the 30 other nearby national park trails. Have a swim, and return to a hot outdoor shower. Repeat!

Enjoy your next vacation in our lovely Cedar Log home "Eagle" near the Cabot Trail in Middle River/Baddeck on Cape Breton Island, NS! The Cottage is suitable for seniors as well as for families. It is fully furnished and has 1 bedroom, 1 bath and a living-eating area with a kitchinette (with pots and pans and everything you need). The cottage can be booked with 3 adults or 2 adults and a kid (sleeping sofa in the living-eating area). Concerning bringing pets, please feel free to ask.
