Adorable one-bedroom cottage on Cabot Trail

Located in the part known as Artisan Loop of the world-famous Cabot Trail on Cape Breton in Nova Scotia, and situated at the base of the mountain, offering a scenic view. 40 km north of Baddeck, 3 km from the intersection to Englishtown ferry, Cabot Trail continues to Cape Smokey Ski Resort and Gondola (35 min) and Cape Breton Highlands National Park (45 min). Rustic wooden interior and beautiful screened veranda to enjoy your coffee in the morning, and watch the sunset with a glass of wine.

Situated on a hillside overlooking the historic St. Ann’s bay, the Old Trail cabin is conveniently located just 5.5km from the start of the Cabot trail and the Gaelic College. A great spot to start or finish your Cabot Trail adventures! The cabin is designed to feel as open and airy as possible for a small space. The bedroom has a queen bed and the loft has a single bed. Kitchenette has coffee maker, toaster, mini fridge and microwave. All amenities needed are only 15 mins away in Baddeck.

Puffin Pod at Sally's Brook Luxury Eco-Resort

The Puffin Pod is an allergy-friendly sleeping pod (no pets) with a cozy living room and double bed in the bedroom. This cabin is a 5-7 minute walk from the main parking lot, up-hill - which is why is has some of the best views! The Cookhouse is very closeby with Wi-Fi, basic staples like coffee & tea, everything you need to cook and store your food, and board games. The Washhouse is also closeby, with heated eco-friendly bathrooms and showers. Free access to wood-fired sauna and snowshoes!

MacLeod Cove is a 4-bedroom cottage on the Bras d'Or, Cape Breton's beautiful inland sea. Enjoy ocean views and private cove, within 25 minutes drive of Baddeck, North Sydney (Newfoundland ferry terminal), and the Cabot Trail. Smoking and fires of any kind are not permitted anywhere on the property. The cottage is very private, surrounded by forest and sea. We upgraded our wifi to high speed fiber in 2026.
