Hytta har særpreg, er meir enn 100 år gammal og har mellom anna ein stor, utskoren vikingskipsmodell hengande i taket. Heile hytta blei restaurert for få år sidan og fekk då moderne utstyr som nytt bad med varmekablar og nytt kjøken med alt nødvendig utstyr.
