It's close to the aquarium and that's the real draw. Take the ferry across from Southport NC. Bring bread to feed the Seagulls. Get in line in time to ferry back - otherwise it's a long drive.

It's the best inexpensive breakfast on the island. Kids always get the "Baby Bear" Breakfast. If you're a little hung over, the food tastes better.

Best tasting seafood I've had in my life. Ambiance is just ok - but the chef is excellent. They make good drinks too. You'll probably need a reservation.

All around great restaurant for drinks, food, atmosphere. Can't really be beat - plus it's by the set of where 'Safe Haven' was filmed. Eat/drink/and watch boats go by - isn't that why you're there?

On the island, this is the place for soft serve. If you get to Southport go to Spike's Dairy Bar (it's better). If they make you a blizzard and don't show it to you upside down it's free.

Best and freshest fish, crabs, shrimp to take home and grill or make a meal with. It's easy to confuse their passion for seafood for rudeness. But some people really are THAT into fish. Great Place!

I don't really recommend this place - but if you need some beach junk this is the place to go (chairs, fake tattoos, hermit crabs) - It's the beach junk store!
