This is the "other beach" on the bay side of VB. More quiet/residential. farther away too. Chic's Oyster Bar is a local fave and you can drive a boat right off the pier from the restaurant.

Virginia Is For L❤️VERS

I was born and raised in VB - use me to enhance your trip! I know restaurants, parking, "secret spots", nature walks, traffic/roads, and places to consider avoiding as well. Some will be posted here as well but in general just ask me and I'll tell you everything (:

You have a car; but parking?

In short, summer time is anyone's game at the oceanfront. Some parking lots fill up very quickly and then others will turn around and try to charge you $20 to park because you have no choice. I recommend being dropped off either by Uber or Myself (for a small fee - less than Uber). You may be able to drive yourself and park, but some days it's not even worth the risk/hassle. It just all depends on timing. in the summer you'll likely want to leave around 10:30 am and stay out until dinner time - that's typically how it goes.
