The place is on the famous and old Dubai Creek, about 20 minutes drive from our apartment, a blend between old and new Dubai, if you have a child and want to make selfies, head to the museum of illusion (80Dhs for adults and 60 Dhs for Children), dine at the local sea food restaurant of Al Fanar, order one of their favorite sharing plate of various fish types and rice (expect about 250 Dhs. for 3 people), the place is amazing for walk with many local shops nicely decorated streets.
Going back home, and if you have time, visit Dubai Frame at Zabeel Park, tickets are 50 Dhs. for adults and 20 Dhs. for Children, they show a glance of old Dubai before you take the elevator to the 150 meters top where you can walk and look down through a glass and have this panoramic view, going down you will see animation of the modern Dubai

Cross the street and head left on the canal, a local coffee shop with Shisha and great views of the canal, I found their food tastes better than the adjacent Nabi Cafe, they also accept Children

Cross the street to the Canal, go right and walk until you find the Grand Millennium Hotel, Bella restaurant is on the rooftop, with breathtaking view of the Burj and Canal, nice, sophisticated but pricy Italian restaurant, I recommend doing lunch on weekdays where they offer three course meal for 130 Dhs. per person, the pasta at lunch was really hard which I don't like, you may want to ask them to boil it more, anyways, they have 2 or 3 options to choose from

a must seen place for families, the place opens 6 months only, i think from September to March every year, many countries are exhibiting their local food, goods, it is a beautiful please but I recommend avoiding Friday's, Saturday's and Sunday's because it gets packed with people, food trucks are amazing, amusement park is nice, you can't visit all countries in one day, the place opens at 4 pm. daily and closes at midnight, i recommend going at 4 pm., there are activities for all ages, we spend really good time and we visit once every year.
Be prepared to have cash, as many local shops do not accept credit cards, plenty of ATM's are available, I liked most the African, Afghani, Palestinian, Iranian and Egyptian pavilions.
Ticket to enter is 20 Dhs.
by the way, IMG is 2 minutes away from Global Village, it is a closed amusement park, very fun for families but the entrance ticket is a bit expensive at 330 Dhs.

Located at V hotel by Hilton, the show lasts for 90 minutes and runs twice a day, at 6:30 pm. and 9 pm.
a starting ticket price is about 260 AED ($71), This is actually a walking distance from the apartment , just cross the road towards the canal and go left, walk towards Shaikh Zayed road until you see V hotel to your left (Google maps would indicate it is 23 minutes walk, but if you take the canal route I suggested, it is shorter time)
I recommend you buy the tickets online, they also have a combo dinner options which I have enjoyed.

The Dubai Opera is 7 minutes ride by taxi, i recommend you go online and see various performances, most people are well dressed for the opera

PCR test services at home
In case you need PCR test prior your travel, I found this health care provider where they come to your house, take a sample and send you the results via e-mail or whatsapp, the results came in less than 24 hrs.
