The old trail cabin.

Situated on a hillside overlooking the historic St. Ann’s bay, the Old Trail cabin is conveniently located just 5.5km from the start of the Cabot trail and the Gaelic College. A great spot to start or finish your Cabot Trail adventures! The cabin is designed to feel as open and airy as possible for a small space. The bedroom has a queen bed and the loft has a single bed. Kitchenette has coffee maker, toaster, mini fridge and microwave. All amenities needed are only 15 mins away in Baddeck.

Located in the heart of Baddeck, this beautifully renovated vacation home offers 5 beds (3 king/2 queen) 3 and 1/2 bath and is within walking distance to all amenities. The main floor is spacious with an open concept living room/dining room & fully equipped kitchen. The two lower suites each have a king bed, private bath with an open concept living/ dinning area. Guests can enjoy the backyard and deck with a BBQ.

MacLeod Cove: secluded cottage with private shore

MacLeod Cove is a 4-bedroom cottage on the Bras d'Or, Cape Breton's beautiful inland sea. Enjoy ocean views and private cove, within 25 minutes drive of Baddeck, North Sydney (Newfoundland ferry terminal), and the Cabot Trail. Smoking and fires of any kind are not permitted anywhere on the property. The cottage is very private, surrounded by forest and sea. We upgraded our wifi to high speed fiber in 2026. Both are fully insulated with heat pumps. The two cabins are about 100 feet apart; they each offer a secluded, covered porch overlooking the Bra d'Or. We cap each cabin at 4 guests and 2 cars. Although we have lots of parking available for snowmobilers. Ask first before booking.
