The neighborhood has a unique charm where traditional Icelandic houses have gotten to maintain their original charm encapsulated in lava fields. Staying here you truly get to be one of the locals, tucked away from the more touristy areas. The area gives you a opportunity to view and live amongst some of the oldest buildings.

Main shopping street, restaurants, cafés, bars, in- and outdoor swimming pool, museums and other attractions minutes away. Great coffee house & bakery steps away.
