The cozy craftsman two-story A-frame nestled in a grove of coniferous giants, offers relaxing respite while maintaining convenience to town, stores, restaurants, pristine coastline and exquisite flora and fauna at your doorstep. Walking amongst the majestic redwoods, along one of our nations cleanest and most biodiverse rivers, is truly a sight to behold and an experience to be had. Keep a look out for elk, eagles, bears and Bigfoot.

You will wake in the trees, to the soft prospects of the forested Siskiyou mountains to the west. You'll discover enchanting views at every window, from city streets to a quiet English garden and pond. You are only a few steps from Ashland Plaza, yet the retreat-like environment we offer to all our guests requires that no incense, smoking, vaping or pets are allowed in the Carriage House. The City of Ashland has authorized the Carriage House. Our City Planning Action Number is PA-2013-01701.

Spend the day hiking, kayaking, biking, and beach-combing then come back to watch the sun melt into the ocean. Relax after a day of exploring the Humboldt Redwoods State Park in this peaceful, dog-friendly (for a fee), renovated barn. Nestled on a point, with spectacular views of the Eel River Valley ranch lands, redwoods, and majestic mountains. It is located right off highway 101 and just minutes to the Avenue of the Giants for exploring and hiking. Enjoy shopping and dining in the nearby Victorian village of Ferndale. It's the perfect central location for exploring all Humboldt has to offer!

There is a seasonal garden lot by the House as well as an orchard where guests can pick fruit in season, surrounded by a view is of the breathtaking forested Trinity Mountains.
