As you'll soon see, there are easily over a thousand makeshift hotels in our small hubbub of a city. Ours is a generational one, and one of the first few. We have been serving our patrons for over a half-century. Your room overlooks the extensive valley and Tashi Ling Tibetan Camp, but from just five steps away you you can see Phewa Lake and the mountain ranges. Vihar is a Sanskrit word meaning a heavenly place, a place of meditation for Buddha, a place to attain heavenly peace. Vihar is a term used mostly in Buddhist scriptures and practices.
