We provide all the necessities, just bring your crew and a sense of adventure. Hiking, biking, boating, wildlife viewing and fishing are all just steps away. Explore the nearby town of Metaline Falls where you can walk along old rail lines and see the architectural remnants of the area’s mining history.

Trail House

1929 house in Trail. Meticulously renovated and maintained with original trim. The house is comfortable and minimalist with lots of living space in a small house. Great for traveling families with kids with two bunk beds. Many activities in area, from mountain biking and hiking to skiing at Red Mountain with Trail Aqua center, downtown, shopping, groceries, and hospital walking distance. Please keep in mind that the top bunk beds have a weight limit of 200lbs and are best suited for children.

Basement Suite on a Goat Farm

The suite is located in the centre of Impulazi Ranch - a 29 acre goat & sheep farm, complete with 360o mountain views and all the peace and quiet that you could ask for on a farm. Hiking, mountain biking, snow shoeing & slack country skiing trails from your front door! Red Mountain is a 12 minute drive from the farm.

Our beautiful 1100 sq.ft executive 2 bedroom suite boasts exceptional unobstructed views of the Kootenays. The 800 sq.ft private deck provides a place to enjoy the sensational sunrises and a BBQ to prepare meals at sunset. Gourmet kitchen contains everything you need, or we are just a short 5 minute walk to town. Off street parking, separate entrance with keypad, and laundry included. Guests have access to a ski locker at Red Mountain and secure bike storage on the premises.

Relax at this peaceful place to stay. This basement suite is located just 10 minutes from Trail and 20 minutes from Rossland. Enjoy the farm life while still having the convenience of being 25 minutes from RED resort. The suite itself has a full bathroom, kitchen (without full stove. has hot plate and toaster oven) full bed and pull out sofa. Enjoy the horse, alpaca's and chickens or take a stroll on one of the many forest trails steps from your door.

The Hidden Moose Lodge

The Hidden Moose Lodge is the ideal destination for any guests looking for a place to stay in Northern Pend Oreille County. Located down a private access road, this charming cabin nestled in the woods (NOT on the River) is the perfect retreat for all seasons! For our fellow animal lovers, we are pet & service dog friendly! We do charge a pet fee of $75 per pet, per stay. Please see our house rules for a full explanation of our Dog Policy.

Located in the peaceful Rossland neighbourhood of Happy Valley is our 2 bedroom private guest suite with private hot tub and deck. Enjoy the extensive trail system at our doorstep or take a 10 minute walk to downtown Rossland. Red Mountain is a 10 minute drive. NO CLEANING FEE PETS ARE NEGOTIABLE We welcome pets most times. BEFORE BOOKING please contact me for approval to have your pet stay with you in the suite.

Kirtland Cutter Rock House - National Register

Stay in a piece of history - the Rock House of Metaline Falls was built by renowned architect Kirtland Cutter in 1910 and is one of the most unique homes on the National Register of Historic Places. The Rock House sits on a scenic bend of the Pend Oreille River just outside the town center of Metaline Falls, an outdoor recreation paradise and hotspot of regional architecture that also hosts the famous Cutter Theater.
