Kibler Valley Cabin

Our cabin is located in the picturesque Kibler Valley just over the Virginia state line. It is equidistant from Mt Airy, NC and Stuart, VA. It is located directly on the Dan River, just down the mountain from it's headwaters. The property sits 4 miles down a 6.5 mile dead-end road. At the end of the road is a hydro-electric power plant. During the summer months Northbrook releases water from the dam on week-ends, depending on resevior levels, which makes for fantastic kayaking and tubing.

Or take advantage of all the cozy indoor spaces we’ve created for relaxing (or reading or puzzling or playing a game). Enjoy the soothing sights and sounds of the water while rocking on the front porch. Close to many attractions in Meadows of Dan, Galax, Wytheville and Mount Airy. The large, covered front porch over looks a beautiful creek. Buffalo Mountain and the Mabry Mill are just 2 nearby places to visit..
