【Koochi】Traditional Machiya facing the Asano River

Located in the Kazuemachi Chaya district, which is designated as a national Important Preservation District for Groups of Traditional Buildings. Built in 1898, this Machiya house retains its quaintness and is decorated in a modern style, mixing interiors from various nationalities and eras. "Kazuemachi" is a quiet town, not crowded with tourists. Please relax in the calming atmosphere of the traditional Japanese room, unwind in the authentic ‘hinoki’ wood bathtub made of fragrant cypress.

5 minutes walk from Tonami Station. Renovated from a former restaurant founded in the Meiji era and built in the early Showa era. It is built using a local cedarwood. You can spend extraordinary time in a quiet in a renovated house with a Hagama bath, a coffered ceiling, and a garden. This room has 134.16㎡ and can accommodate up to 6 people.
