The warmth of wood can be felt at Atagawa Moon Lodge, which makes abundant use of solid cedar wood. Atagawa is a mecca of hot springs with numerous wellsprings. A 15min drive from the inn is a beach where you can enjoy beach activities. Located in the center of Higashi Izu, it is the perfect base for sightseeing in Izu Kogen, Ito, and Shimoda! Hakone Villa with Private Onsen, Ryokan Style

Authenic Japanese style mixed with modern comfort. The private onsen is the biggest feature of the house. Also it has a Japanese style garden where you can enjoy the beautiful scenery just sitting on the tatami. The house is 25 min bus ride from Hakone-Yumoto. From the nearest bus stop, Midorinomura-Iriguchi, it's about 2 min walk. It is also very close (3min bus ride) to Sounzan, the terminal of the Hakone rope way.
