The rustic lakeside treehouse has two bedroom loft upstairs, one lower bedroom, amazing views of our private lake and an assortment of animals (deer, axis, fallow, elk, and rams) that roam freely on the gated property. Enjoy kayaking, fishing,or lounge around the lake. Plan a trip to Garden of the Gods, Jackson Falls, Tunnel Hill Trail or Shawnee National Forest finishing the evening roasting hotdogs around the fire. *No parties or events allowed during your stay. Quiet cabin with a lake view! Enjoy this amazing retreat. The rustic wood beams, hardwood floors, and stone wood burning fireplace add to the charm of the fishing bear lodge. You will have access to our docks where you can go swimming, fishing and even kayak(rentable). During the summer months we do have rafts available to use as well in the lake. Life jackets and fishing poles are available at the lodge for you. After a fun filled day relax in the hot tub as you listen to the sounds of nature.

Enjoy one of the 3 decks. Inside: * 3 queen beds, 1 bathroom, Central AC and heat, fresh bedding and towels, equipped kitchen. * Excellent WiFi at the cabin but cell service is spotty. Just minutes from campus, downtown, and the airport, The Depot is a historic home attached to 5 wooded acres, a lake, and a "big sky" view across the prairie for watching sunsets and night skies. Originally a train depot constructed in 1857, it has been fully modernized for contemporary living.
