Welcome! Come explore the wonderful area of Mount Vernon, Iowa. We are within walking distance to Main Street, its shops and eateries, Bijou Movie Theater, and Cornell College! Both Cedar Rapids and Iowa City are also a short drive away. You will be close to everything when you stay at our centrally-located home! The home comfortably accommodates 6 guests. A Queen Air Mattress is available for an additional 2 guests. There is a $15 fee per night per person for 7th and 8th guest. 8 guests max.

The historic Hogle House was home to Dr. Kate Hogle, the first female doctor in Mount Vernon, alumni of Cornell College; and her husband, Dr. George Hogle.
