Random Point is a quiet, isolated oasis on a private, 300 ft beach cove on Lake Superior with a trout pond and 10 wooded acres. Both rentals and the outdoor sauna have stunning views of the Lake. This enchanted location is 5 miles from downtown Mqt with easy access to the University, restaurants, shops, hiking & biking trails. Enjoy beautiful Lake Independence 25-30 miles NW of Marquette, MI with a 3-bedroom lake cottage right on the southside of the lake with a sandy beach (217 ft) and dock. Pontoon not included, but there is an open boat slip on our dock (mid-June through mid-October). 2 kayaks are included. Some of the best UTV and snowmobiling trails along with backcountry snowmobiling in the U.P. are right in your backdoor. Fish for walleye, perch, pike, and bass on Lake Independence in the summer or winter!

Please note, that during all of July and August, we only accept Weekly Bookings....Sunday through Sunday.

On a 2.5 acre deep wooded lot, our cabin overlooks a private sandy beach on Lake Superior. You can sit or grill on the deck, or go down the stairs to the beach for lounging, swimming, playing, walking, or a bonfire. The location of this property is ideal--it is just a short drive into Marquette, 40 minutes to Pictured Rocks, and 1/2 mile from the Ojibwa Casino. You'll get the feel of a UP camp on a private beach, with the convenience of a city nearby.
