The White Pine 1-bedroom suite (Newly remodeled) is perfect for a couple. Set up for you to bring your personals only. Included with the room is a Pontoon paddle boat, kayaks, canoe and more. Enjoy beautiful Lake Independence 25-30 miles NW of Marquette, MI with a 3-bedroom lake cottage right on the southside of the lake with a sandy beach (217 ft) and dock. Pontoon not included, but there is an open boat slip on our dock (mid-June through mid-October). 2 kayaks are included. Some of the best UTV and snowmobiling trails along with backcountry snowmobiling in the U.P. are right in your backdoor. Fish for walleye, perch, pike, and bass on Lake Independence in the summer or winter!

Please note, that during all of July and August, we only accept Weekly Bookings....Sunday through Sunday.

The Captain's Residence: Lighthouse & Lake Views!

Welcome to the Captain’s Residence! This unique historic rental is located on the grounds of Lighthouse Park in Marquette, Michigan, a small peninsular park that juts out into Lake Superior and is capped by the iconic red Marquette Harbor Light. This property is surrounded on three sides by Lake Superior and is the easternmost home in the City! Historically, this home was the residence of Coast Guard Captains of years past until the property was given to the City.
