Ailsa CottageSemi detached bungalow tucked off the A82 between Spean Bridge and Invergarry. The house is situated nearby the great glen way. Ideal location for walking , visiting the Isle of Skye and general relaxation. The house is ten miles north of the Nevis Range ski resort, 20 miles from the town of Fort William and Ben Nevis, the highest mountain in the UK. I have an outbuilding which is secure for any individuals taking bikes/kayaks/ski equipment etc.
Number 9 Glengarry Lodges (hot tub)Sit on the balcony of our newly renovated 2 bedroom lodge, nestled in the trees looking down on beautiful Loch Lochy whilst having breakfast before heading out to walk or cycle the Great Glen Way*, which goes through the site. In 3 hours (on foot) you’ll either be in Fort Augustus, where Loch Ness begins, or Spean Bridge, depending on whether you went left or right. If you make it to Fort William (about 22 miles on the Great Glen Way or about 40 minutes by car), you could hop aboard the Hogwarts Express following in Harry Potter’s footsteps over the famous Glenfinnan viaduct and on to Mallaig and still be back in time to lie relaxing in the luxurious hot tub whilst listening to the soothing sounds of a stream tumbling over the rocks. Too relaxed to cook? No problem. Take a 5 minute amble to the Eagle Barge, a floating pub which also does meals or drive 8 miles to Fort Augustus to The Bothy which sits next to the 3 staircase locks leading onto Loch Ness and enjoy a meal and a pint with the locals. For a special celebration book a table at Russell’s Restaurant at The Smiddy at Spean Bridge, 11miles away, for a fabulous meal in a romantic setting. Our lodge here has 2 double beds and the site doesn’t allow dogs so if you need a twin room or have a four legged friend, please look at our other lodge just a 10 minute drive away at the sister site, number 4 Invergarry Lodges, on Loch Oich. The accommodation entrance leads into a short hallway. The master bedroom has a double bed and a fitted wardrobe. The second and third bedrooms have two full sized single beds and a wardrobe each. The bathroom has a shower, toilet and vanity sink. Pet friendly. There is an open plan fully equipped kitchen with a living area that has a TV and DVD player plus a range of DVDs for your enjoyment. The patio door opens onto decking with a hot tub and a table and chairs and beautiful, unobstructed views of Loch Oich. The fabulous new kitchen has a black worktop, microwave, slimline dishwasher, electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer, coffee maker etc. The dining area has a lovely wooden dining table and chairs and there are comfortable sofas in the lounge area for enjoying the panoramic view whilst relaxing.

This lovely Scandinavian style wooden A Frame lodge has amazing loch views on the bank-side of Loch Oich in the Scottish Highlands. Lodge 6 Accommodation The accommodation entrance, with open plan storage for outdoor jackets and sizeable shoe cupboard, leads into a short hallway. The master bedroom which leads off the hallway has a king-size bed with four large drawers for easy storage, a fitted wardrobe and an en suite shower room with a shower cubicle, toilet and vanity sink. The second bedroom has two full sized single beds and one built in wardrobe. Both bedrooms feature blackout curtains for a good night’s sleep. The newly fitted modern bathroom has a bath, shower, toilet and vanity sink. There is a small top-loading washing machine available for guest use in the main bathroom. There is an open plan fully equipped kitchen with a living area. nb. There is no television in this lodge to help guests escape and unwind in this peaceful highland setting. Instead there is a bookshelf full of books, local outdoor guides and boardgames to keep you entertained. The patio door opens onto a brick patio which has a picnic bench and unobstructed views of Loch Oich. The kitchen has microwave, dishwasher, electric oven and hob, fridge with freezer compartment and the dining area has a lovely wooden dining table and chairs. There are also comfortable sofas in the lounge area for enjoying the panoramic view whilst relaxing.

With the Great Glen Way Long Distance Walking Trail, and the Caledonian Canal on our doorstep we're only 20 minutes to Loch Ness, 25 minutes to the Nevis Range Ski Resort and 40 minutes to Ben Nevis Base.
The Field House sits on the edge of a hayfield just outside Fort Augustus. It is a warm and intimate space, with a living and dining area with spectacular views of the fields and hills, an ensuite shower room, a galley kitchen and two single beds in the loft. The decking is frequented by game birds, hares and owls, and highland cattle graze in the neighbouring field. Fort Augustus and Loch Ness are a short walk away, and the house is perfectly located for exploring the highlands further afield.
