The Roosevelt

I built this cabin in 1989, this property has a lot of history, it was part of the land that my father in law acquired from the Roosevelt program, I believe that was in 1932, he was one of the few original settlers. we have 25 acres we are in process of making walking trail that will wind back and forth through the entire property. will be a good chance of seeing all kind of wildlife including deer turkey, squirrels and all kind of birds. The A-Frame

The A-Frame is a vintage 1955 Sears and Roebuck kit house, recently remodeled for your Airbnb pleasure! This A-Frame is set way back in the woods, yet is only minutes from the interstate, movies, malls, eateries, and all Montgomery has to offer. Kind of a "best of both worlds" situation. 20 minutes from Maxwell and Gunter AFB, 50 minutes from Auburn, and 2 minutes from I-85. The A-frame is pet friendly, all we ask is that if your fur babies shed, please clean up after them before you leave.

Relax in stunning style among the whispering pines just outside the gates of Callaway Gardens & only blocks from unique shopping in charming downtown Pine Mountain. Cycling enthusiasts will love riding the Man 'O War, a rail to trail conversion that winds through scenic vistas. Picnic overlooking the scenic views at Dowdell's Knob in FD Roosevelt State Park, or enjoy a day hike along its 23 miles of trails, or horseback riding. Enjoy a stylish experience at this centrally-located place.

Woodland Cottage at Historic Brookfield Estate

Travel the tree lined drive to arrive at this historic cottage, nestled among the 17 acre estate built in 1875, offering a peaceful respite from city life. With mostly original finishings, the cottage provides a very rustic, woodsy appeal, complete with original, if not slightly uneven charmingly creaky floors, lots of beautiful trees and leaves, and many lovely birds and critters. Sit around the bon fire in rocking chairs to share s’mores, watch the sunset & gaze at the stars!

The Nest

The Nest is no-smoking and smoking is not allowed anywhere on the property. It is a peaceful getaway and great for a romantic weekend or quiet retreat. Canoes, kayaks, trails, and a fire pit are available plus the kitchen is stocked with everything you’ll need. Close to Serenbe, Newnan, and the Atlanta Airport. You’ll love my place because of the arty style, the peaceful vibe and the beautiful lake view. The cottage is on 34 private acres and directly behind the main lake house.

Ever wonder what it would be like to awake to scenes like this? With 200 acres of rural solitude overlooking a 16-acre lake, we offer a little piece of rural heaven. The pool adds a taste of tropical paradise for our guests to enjoy. Each cabin has 2 Queen Bedrooms, a full kitchen, and a sleeping loft with 5 twin beds. Maximum of 8 guests on site. Hike the woods or around the lake or just sit on the porch. Fishing is catch and release only. No fish cleaning on site.

Miller Farms: A Quiet Country Cabin Retreat

This is a quiet get-away located on Miller's farm only 20 min. from I-20 between Atlanta & B'ham The sunsets are spectacular. Mt. Cheaha is approximately 15 minutes from the farm. The farm is located approximately 45 minutes from the Talladega Race Track and Anniston (home to the Cheaha Challenge bicycle race),Talladega National Forest 10 minutes, Tallapoosa River and Lake Wedowee, 281 Scenic Byway, Scenic Hwy 49 that leads to US Military Park at Horse Shoe Bend.

This little cabin was a labor of love for our family. It’s a mix of new remodel and old cabin authenticity. It’s a coat of many colors and we hope you enjoy it as much as we do. My brother and I decided to take on a project together and with the help of our beloved spouses we took this little diamond in the rough to its current prime. We have plans to continue the vision and make more space, but for now, we’re ready to share our accomplishment with you.

Mistical cabin in the woods near Callaway!

A short drive to Callaway Gardens! Few people even know it exists except the owners whose family has occupied this land since 1835 . We are an hour South of Atlanta. The cabin is not primitive. It has all the modern convenience sitting on a 20 ac tract with bigger tracts of land adjoining. I have a five person sleep accommodation but if you are a larger family I can make an allowance. It is a very safe area and we are available if you need us.

Private Cabin with a Wood Stove, Sink, Cook Stove, Full Bed, linens, bedding, pillows and towels. Fall - Spring: shared Hot Tub Available Friday nights. Shared Sauna Available with cold plunge Saturday nights. Cabin is accessed by a trail (386 ft long) from the retreat center (521 ft from parking). Privy and shower are at the center. Parking for one car only. Parksland is a clothing optional retreat. We honor each person's clothing choices.
