Look out northwards from the rooftop terrace to the Columbia River and Washington mountains, with trains occasionally rumbling by below. Fill the industrial-style interior of soaring ceilings and century-old pillars with the sounds of vintage vinyl. Please inform yourself on updates for Covid 19 in Hood River County prior to travel. License #678 Cool Industrial feel, cement floors, soaring ceilings, 100 year old brick and cement pillars. Modern yet cozy furnishings. There a record player with vintage vinyl. Gourmet kitchen. Fun, hip vibe, right in the middle of town. Walk to everything. The roof top deck is everyone’s favorite. Guests will have access to the entire loft. You'll have street parking permits as well as access to the garage to store bicycles and other important items. We don't provide access to the garage for automobiles due to the risk of providing garage door opener and tight corner for parking (you'll see what we mean). I’m here if you need me. Sense the industrial past of this location by the old train tracks in the center of downtown. Go for a run in the nearby waterfront park, with shops, restaurants, and breweries also nearby. Hit the ski slopes at Mount Hood, only 30 minutes away. Parking for our loft is best just right on the street. We offer meter passes for street parking. It is very important to remember to return these passes upon your departure so the next guests will also have free parking. There is a fine for losing or leaving with the parking passes and not returning them to the loft upon your check out. Walking distance to everything in downtown Hood River and the Columbia River. Great cafes, breweries, wine tasting rooms, and restaurants just minutes away. Double Mountain Brewery and Full Sail Brewery are a block away.

“Moonshine Hideaway” KING BED/Wood Stove/Romantic

You won’t forget your time in this romantic, memorable place. A large comfy 14’X16’ safari tent on a deck 4.5’ off ground to take you away from it all! Luxurious King sized bed with memory foam mattress and a leather sofa bed. We are off grid so we provide a WOOD STOVE, wood bundles are $5 each, propane heater and power station provided for lights and charging your electronics. Extra guests after 2 are $15 pp. a night. One bedroom apartment attached to our home. Separate entrance, fully equipped kitchen, TV, Free WiFi, off street parking in quiet rural setting. Access to our game room with pool table, patio and gardens, We are dog friendly. Great area for biking and hiking, close to Goldendale Observatory, Maryhill Museum and the wineries of the Gorge. Elsie's View: Cozy Vintage/Modern Cabin

We are nestled in the woods within a stone's throw of the stunning White Salmon River. Our cabin dates to the 1920s (one of the oldest in the area but we recently updated it). 4 people max. We are best for 1 or 2 adult couples (one queen and one full size bed are available). A couple with one or two kids works okay too. What doesn’t work great are 4 adults who sleep separately since that means using the pull out couches downstairs. Well-behaved dogs okay with advance notice.

Cabin 43 on the White Salmon River

Cabin 43 is a new home we built ourselves located right on the wild and scenic White Salmon river. We finished this project (June, 2020) and are excited to share this beautiful place with guests. It features a King bed in 1 room and 2 twin beds in the 2nd bedroom which can be pushed together to make a 2nd king bed. We live in a cluster of 8 other cabins down gravel road in a very serene forest setting with a large field out front and private river side walking trails.

The community offers private access to the beautiful Cowlitz River a stroll right from Heartwood and on clear days there are great views of towering Butte Peak. Heartwood includes a cedar hot tub, large kitchen, WiFi, 2 bathrooms, a full laundry room, and more. 10 mins to downtown, 60 mins up to Paradise and 30 mins to White Pass. 🏔️🩷
