Once tucked back into the woods, this newly improved 1920s cabin now enjoys a front-row seat to the grandeur of the Hood Canal thanks to a tidal creek that has washed away the sandy soil that once supported the departed trees. This property may prove challenging for individuals with mobility issues. **Pricing is discounted due to ongoing improvements. Mature cedar, fir, spruce, and big leaf maple trees abound, a year-round creek runs through the property, and a wonderful beach awaits you with habitat that boasts nesting eagles, osprey, otters, raccoons, opossums, and a myriad of waterfowl, songbirds, and hummingbirds. Cozy up in the little living space with a fully stocked kitchen and sip your favorite drink on the covered patio overlooking the lake. The cottage is a completely private space, perched on an expansive grassy lawn. Bring your hammock and sway between the alder trees on the shoreline or build a camp fire in the fire pit provided. ~10 min drive from Forks.
