In 2020 the Edenville dam on Wixom lake failed, draining the lake & returning it to the river it was 95 years ago. This house now sits on hundreds of acres of ancient stumps & emerging forest on a dry lake bottom with a picturesque river running through it, ready for you to explore. Within a 45 minute drive you have Houghton Lake, smaller lakes, splash pads and casinos, something for the whole family.

Nestled in a cove on the largest lake in Kent county, this renovated lakefront cottage sits at the water's edge of Lake Wabasis with 66' of private shoreline. It includes: 18' pontoon, 2 kayaks, paddle boat & dock (May through October, weather permitting). There is also a front deck; side patio; bonfire pit and gas BBQ grill. Swan Cottage has 2 large bedrooms (plus a twin daybed in a semi-private nook); 1 bathroom; and driveway parking. It is dog friendly, however, the yard is not fenced.

Just a short walk from the water (2 min, NOT lakefront, side street). Crystal lake is 5.3 miles. There is an access site you can anchor a boat at for the day (anchor, no dock or land, but you can anchor in the water and walk back to the cottage), the beach is 1/2 mile away, and raceway is 1 mile away. The large double lot sometimes has guests in a camper on the 2nd lot and a shared firepit. Golfcarts are allowed. VALID PHOTO ID and phone number will be required immediately after booking.
