The studio cottage is located in an east Portland neighborhood bordering the city of Gresham. It is close to public transport (near a MAX light rail station), the airport and outdoor activities (the Columbia Gorge; Mt Hood) and is a 20-30 min drive to downtown. It's cozy (eclectic vintage style), a wooded 1-acre setting within the city limits, and has secure premises (electric gate). Our place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and business travelers. Please no young children.

The airy, open floor plan is filled with natural light, mixed textiles and warm woods. A cedar-surround outdoor shower and private 5x7 Finnish sauna lend to the spa-like setting. This is a private 1 bedroom basement suite at the Carter Park Home. It comes with a private entrance, living room, bedroom, bathroom, kitchenette with full fridge/freeze (Newly added amenity 8/1/2022), microwave, stovetop w/ five burners, toaster oven, and beverage refrigerator. It also includes a washer & dryer. Enjoy TV with premium cable channels and free WIFI. There is a shared outdoor BBQ area and we are pet friendly. Pets must be disclosed in booking ($150 fee).

The cottage is designed to be self sufficient, and full of natural light. Take a stroll through the alleyways and wander through Alberta park to restaurants and coffee shops. It is a very bike friendly neighborhood. We are also connected by bus lines to downtown.
