Plenty of parking & a large covered sitting area where you can enjoy your evenings rain or shine! Leave your truck & trailer parked and ride your machine anywhere in town you need to go. You can ride the trails until dark and the streets in town until 11pm. Stop by our very own souvenir shop in town (Hatfield~McCoy Trail Gear) and get your trail passes, maps, and souvenirs.

Mama Bears Den is the Perfect Location to Visit the Hatfield and McCoy Trails offering access to not only one but two different trail systems (Devil Anse & Rockhouse) within a mile of the property! Devil Anse connects with a Third trial system (Buffalo) offering days of trials with no need to trailer to other locations! Relax on the porch or by the fire pits while cooking on the grills by a scenic creek! While here visit the gravesite or museum of Devil Anse, just a short walking distance away.

Trail Heaven Lodge

Beautiful home right in the heart of Hatfield and McCoy Trails. Located walking distance to Wilmore dam trail. One of the most centralized locations you’ll find. You can access 7 Hatfield and McCoy trails from this house without trailering. That includes Warrior, Indian Ridge, Pocahontas, Pinnacle, Rockhouse, Devil Anse, and Buffalo Mountain. The cottage is located less than 1000 feet from Pinnacle Creek trail 25 of the Hatfield McCoy trail system and outlaw trails. We have a fire pit located out back for your enjoyment.

Located in Gilbert, WV on the Hatfield and McCoy trail system. No trailering needed-Access to Rockhouse is located 2.5 miles from the house on the same Road. Enjoy evenings sitting on either of the covered attached outdoor areas, or around the fire pit relaxing in Adirondack chairs. The home has 2 full baths, master is an en-suite. About 5 minutes away from Gilbert area, where trail heads start. Quiet area & cozy. With access to in ground pool. The pool is open from June 1st to September 1st. Only about 5 minutes from R D Bailey dam with picnic/play areas and visitor center with a nice view of the dam and lake. Great for boating and fishing. Close to trail 12, Mexican restaurant, grocery stores, Dollar stores, Giovanni’s, & more! Lots of hiking areas and other local parks and recreation areas.

We are only 1 mile to the Rock House trail head. We are just a 5 minute ride to the new trail system Braveheart. You have your own private hot tub, sun room, and private outdoor getaway to relax at night. There is a futon available in the sun room as well.
